Superb offers cheaper car insurance for used car owners
27/08/2008
Cheaper car insurance policies can be taken out by used car owners for the new Superb model from Skoda, it has been claimed.
According to the firm, the 1.9 TDI entry-level model has been awarded the 6E insurance rating - three positions above the outgoing model.
This could result in people buying the model in order to save money on cover costs which they can use to pay road tax and expensive petrol bills.
Skoda UK product marketing manager Chris Horrell has remarked that the model is an advancement on previous iterations.
"The new Superb has achieved much improved ratings thanks to enhanced vehicle security, competitive pricing and low cost of parts and repairs. All of these factors contribute to lower insurance premiums for our customers," he said.
Last week, the company announced that it will be premiering its new Superb at the Moscow Motor Show from August 28th.
