Sagittarians are safest used car drivers, report shows

People born under the star sign of sagittarius are the safest new and used car drivers on Britain's roads, according to a survey by moneysupermarket.com.

Those with a birthday between November 23rd and December 21st are sagittarians and are responsible for just 7.5 per cent of at-fault car accidents.

Arians, people born between March 21st and April 20th, are responsible for nine per cent of at-fault accidents, 8.4 per cent above the national average.

Famous arians include Mariah Carey, Christopher Walken and Victoria Beckham. Traits of the star sign include pushiness, braveness and impatience.

Sagittarians such as Brad Pitt, Britney Spears and Stephen Spielberg have traits such as high energy, a jovial nature and restlessness.

Peter Gerrard, head of insurance at moneysupermarket.com, said: "Many of us are sceptical about star signs but it's interesting the number of at-fault car crashes aligns with classic zodiac traits and also closely replicates last year's survey - a sign that driving ability may well be written in the stars."

People born under the signs of leo, libra, capricorn and scorpio are also among the safest drivers, with numbers of at-fault accidents at or below the national average.
